Our Sports Medicine Department offers a variety of specialized soft tissue therapies - proven in the athletic arena - to athletes and non-athletes alike. These include ultrasound, electro-muscle stimulation, and laser therapy. All are painless and noninvasive.
Ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to break down and dispose of painful calcium deposits and trigger points (hard tissue accumulations).
Electro-muscle therapy uses small amounts of electrical current to reduce pain and swelling in soft tissue injuries.
Laser therapy is ideal for sprains and strains to reduce pain and inflammation, especially for athletes and others seeking accelerated healing.
